As sales of small electric engines grow, especially in Europe, Torqeedo continues to expand its business. In addition, the company owns numerous patents related to electric engines, propellers and systems, as well as resources for research, development and production of next-generation environmental technologies. Its quality places it in the premium segment with great application potential.

The offer includes the Ultralight, Travel and Cruise lines with the support of the service program through spare parts, accessories and batteries.

With this expansion, Yamaha further strengthens its offer of outboard engines with electric drive. The acquisition paves the way for the development and production of mid-range electric engines, with the aim of positioning itself as a leader in the growing market of marine electric drives.
